Network Mentoring Program
Innovative Community Action Network (I.C.A.N.) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit community based program. We exists to meet the needs of the children within the community. We’re here to inspire, motivate, encourage and to provide mentoring to both boys and girls. We will also provide training to citizens so that they may in turn become mentors, this will enable them to use their talents to make a difference in their communities.
The I.C.A.N. Mentoring Program was established to address the problems and needs relating to the growing isolation of youths within our community between 7-17 years of age. At-risk and troubled youths are often deprived of the parental guidance and support needed for the development into an productive adulthood.
Therefore, we at I.C.A.N. view mentoring as a positive opportunity for many citizens within our community to contribute to the reclamation of our youths within our society through realistic and flexible volunteerism efforts.
